DIY Templates (you print yourself)

How long after payment until I receive my template?
In most cases, you will be able to download your template immediately once payment is made. The exception is for photo templates where we will email you the template updated with your photos within 1-2 business days.

Can I use a template on a Mac?
No, our templates are set up in Windows and can only be edited in Windows. You will require Acrobat Reader (version 8 or later). Download Acrobat Reader here...

The paper I want to print on is letter size (8½ by 11 inches) rather than A4. Does that matter?
In most cases, no. Letter size is actually wider than A4 and there is enough space in the top and bottom margins in all of our templates to accommodate the shorter length. Therefore the page content will easily fit when printed onto letter sized stationery. The only exception is for the card size templates which are 138.5mm x 95mm. For these templates if printing on letter size paper, deselect "Choose Paper Source by PDF Page Size" and choose "Fit to Printable Area". Cards may print smaller than the size listed on www.partytemplates.com.

I have purchased a ticket style invitation, but I can't find envelopes to match. Can you make a suggestion?
Finding an envelope to match the ticket style invitation is a little tricky because the invitation itself is not a standard size. We could have made it bigger, but then it doesn't look as much like a ticket. The envelopes we use here are DL size which is 220mm x 110mm (8 3/4" x 4 1/3") and these envelopes are actually larger than the ticket which is 185mm x 75mm (7 1/3" x 3"). The closest match US envelope size available in specialty ranges is size No.10 (9 1/2" x 4 1/8").

I want to print 3 invitations to a page, instead of just 2. Can I do that?
The size of our DL invitations is 99mm x 210mm which takes them right to the edge of the page on all sides if printed 3up on A4. If your printer shifts even slightly on any edge, the invitations will have uneven borders once they are cut. For this reason, all of our DL invitations have been set up 2 to a page instead of 3.

If I purchase a photo template, how do I send my photos to you?
For photo templates, you can upload your photo when ordering (the order form has a Browse button which lets you upload files off your computer). Have your photos ready in jpeg format, file size approx 1MB.

I can't save my changes in the sample template I downloaded from the website.
Sample templates are provided in a lower resolution (72dpi), are watermarked and cannot be saved. If you choose to purchase a template for your invitations, your template will be provided as 300dpi with no watermark, and your copy can be saved.

What are my payment options?
We accept payment by Paypal and credit card (Visa, Mastercard and Bankcard).

Will I be charged extra credit card fees if paying from outside Australia?
This will depend on your bank - your bank may charge a small 'currency conversion fee' if processing a credit card transaction from your currency to Australian currency. This fee is out of our control and will depend on your bank - please be aware of possible extra fees from your bank when ordering.

Printed Invitations (we print for you)

How long does it take to deliver an order?
On average it takes about 5 to 7 working days to deliver printed invitations once we have received all your information. All our printed orders are sent by overnight express post.

Do you deliver to anywhere in Australia?
We use Australia Post's express post courier service which delivers to any address in Australia.

Do you deliver outside of Australia?
We deliver to Australian addresses only. Our invitation printing services are therefore not available for overseas customers. However, our Invitation Templates are available to both Australian and International customers.

How do I order?

  • Go to the invitation you want. Scroll down to the DIY Template Order Form or Printed Invitations Order Form.

  • Enter a quantity, then click ADD TO CART.

  • Click ORDER to bring up the Order Form.

  • Fill out the Order Form. Enter your party details in the comments box (eg - location, date plus any other info to go on the invitation).

  • The Order Form allows you to upload your guest list (if you wish to include guest names on your invitation) plus any photos (if ordering a photo invitation).

  • Click SUBMIT to complete your order.

What happens when I order?
Once you've ordered printed invitations, the following happens:

  • One of our invitation designers will make initial contact to confirm your order and email any questions we might have.

  • If each envelope is to be personalised (clear or white labels are available) with your guests' name and/or address, you can email us a text, word or excel file of each of your guests' details.

  • We then email you a proof of how your invitation will look (usually within 1-2 working days).

  • You check the invitation and send back any changes. We continue this process until you approve the design. If required, we can send you a printed sample of your invitation before we print the remainder.

  • Once the design is approved, we email your invoice. Our preferred payment method is a direct deposit to our PaperWeb account. You can also pay by credit card - by phone (07 3882 3208) or using our secure online credit card payment form (there is a link from your invoice).

  • Once we've received payment, we print your invitations and express post them to you.

Can you print the names of my guests on the invitations?
YES! Each invitation can be personalized with your guest name/s at no additional cost. We can match the colour and font of your invitation. You'll be saving time by not having to hand-write the names on yourself. You can upload your guest list (most commonly in Excel, Word or text format) when ordering.

What if I like a design on the website but would like to make variations such as changing the colour, or the font?
It may be possible to change the fonts and the colour of many of our invitations depending on the design. Please contact us to enquire further.

How do I supply the details of my event and my guest list to you?
You can upload your guest list when ordering. Once you have initiated an order, we will contact you to confirm the information that will be printed on your invitations. We recommend guest lists be supplied in Microsoft word format and will be able to assist with the layout of the list once the design of the invitation is finalised.

Can I have my own photo printed on the invitation?
Yes, you can supply photos and graphics which we can incorporate into any of our photo invitations. You can upload your photos when ordering.

Can I buy invitations without having my event details printed on them - ie. they are just blank?
We can supply invitations without the text being printed, however there is no difference in cost. It is the same price to purchase blank invitations as it is to purchase the customised version.

What are my payment options?
